Terms of use
Last updated: 20 October 2026. This is a translation; the German version is legally binding.
1. Provider and scope
Mabel Helps is a Chrome extension by Stephan Brdlik & Robert Kübler GbR (BK Innosoft), Nuremberg, Germany (see legal notice). These terms apply to the use of the extension.
2. What Mabel Helps is
Mabel Helps is an AI helper. When you click, it describes the website you have open, gives tips on how to use it and points out possible signs of a scam. The answers are generated automatically by an AI model.
3. No guarantee of safety
Mabel can make mistakes. An assessment such as "looks normal" is no guarantee that a website is safe, and a warning is no proof of fraud. Mabel Helps does not replace security software or advice from your bank, the police or a professional. Never share passwords, bank details or codes just because a website or a caller tells you to.
4. Free use and daily allowance
Use is currently free and limited to 10 clicks per day and installation. We may change the allowance or temporarily limit the service, for example under high load. There is no entitlement to a particular availability.
5. Fair use
Please use Mabel Helps only for its intended purpose. In particular, you may not query the service automatically, work around the allowance, or use it to build or test scam websites.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slightly negligent breaches of essential obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
7. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains which data we process.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when the service changes. German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
